Steep: How to Score Points, in Every Single Way

Scoring Points – Steep

Recommended Videos

Steep isn’t all about pulling off tricks in order to earn points, it’s all about how crazy and stylish you’re looking while you speed down the slopes of the mountain range in the Alps. Whether you’re using the Wingsuit, Skiis, Snowboard, or Paraglider, there are a bunch of different ways you can earn points.

These are as follows:

Freestyle: Executing and landing jumps and tricks while heading downhill.

Freeride: Navigating on small or big reliefs on the trail.

Extreme: Dodging and/or weaving your way close to trees, cliffs, or other obstacles.

You can mix and match all of these different methods together in one trail to really rack up points, and it’s important that you do so. Focusing on just one of these will net you a good score, but the very best players will find the best trails to link it all together.

Remember to keep these in mind on your way down. While it’s easy to just focus on taking the safest route, it’s likely to leave you with a pretty low score. The real fun of Steep comes when you pull off some elaborate trails, anyway.
