Pokemon Sun & Moon: Where to Get an Ice Stone

Pokemon Sun and Moon returns with the classic strategy of needing evolution stones to evolve your Pokemon. The Ice Stone, in particular, can evolve a pretty unique pocket monster that you will definitely want to get. It’s no wonder you’re here right now, wondering how to get your hands on one.

In order to get one, as is usual, you will need to proceed through the story some more. Once you’ve reached Ula’ula Island, you need to head to Po Town and search within the top left corner of that area for the Ice Stone. This is, of course, the third island, so you may have some progressing to do.

The Ice Stone is especially useful this time around because it affects the Alolan version of Vulpix! Using it on this Vulpix will yield you a Ninetails. How crazy, right? An ice version of the classic little fox. Here are the Pokemon it affects:

  • Vulpix evolves into Ninetails
  • Eevee evolves into Glaceon

That’s all there is to it! Just show them that stone, and you will have yourself some ice cold evolutions!
