Pokemon Sun and Moon: How to Evolve Eevee into Flareon

How to Get Flareon – Pokemon Sun and Moon

If you are looking to add a bit of heat into your Pokemon Sun & Moon experience then players should consider picking up a Flareon during their journey. This fire Pokemon is incredibly powerful and you will need to nab an Eevee if you want to add this one to your collection. Eevee can be acquired from a number of locations with Routes 4 and 6 on the second island being your earliest chance at an encounter. You can also get one through the Wireless Trade via the Festival Plaza located on your bottom menu.

To actually evolve an Eevee naturally you will need to acquire a Fire Stone, which can actually be found in a few different locations. The earliest area is actually on Route 9 in an area known as the Diglett Tunnel via a Pokeball item on the ground. If you manage to miss this fear not, because there will be a place in Konikoni City called Olivia’s Jewelry Shop which sells rare evolution stones.

After purchasing or finding a Fire Stone then you can go into your menus and evolve your Eevee into Flareon. There are no other requirements including gender, time of day, or happiness for the Fire Stone to work. Just make sure you have all the Eevee exclusive moves you want before using this item otherwise they will be lost forever. We recommend waiting until at least level 33 so your Eevee can acquire Baton Pass, which is quite powerful if you run the right team composition.
