In a report by Dengeki Online, via Gematsu, Pokemon Sun and Moon have shipped over 10 million copies worldwide. And this is before the game has even officially launched. This also marks the highest number of shipments ever for any 3DS title.
Pokemon Sun and Moon will bring about a number of big changes to the franchise. Set in the brand new Alolan region, players will see the return of classic Pokemon from the first generation. However, some of them have Alolan forms, and might look a little different from how you remember them. Some of these Pokemon might also have new types, changing the way you use them in battle. Sun and Moon will also introduce the new Rotom Pokedex – a Pokedex that is literally a Pokemon – that will offer you guidance with regards to where you should go next, or what objectives you can pursue.
Pokemon Sun and Moon are set to be released for the Nintendo 3DS on November 18 in North America, and on November 23 in Europe. Will you be picking up the game at launch? Feel free to let us know in the comments down below.
