One of the Wii U’s most popular LEGO games, LEGO City Undercover, is making its way to current generation consoles, Steam, and the Nintendo Switch.
Undercover was originally released for the Nintendo Wii U in 2013 and, unlike the majority of LEGO games, it wasn’t based on a specific license. It was instead based on the LEGO City brand of toys. LEGO City Undercover was also the first LEGO game to be published by Nintendo.
Now, WB Games and LEGO have revealed on Twitter that the game will be returning. They tweeted: “Join the Chase! LEGO City Undercover is looking for new recruits on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Steam in Spring 2017.”

It seems like the game will be a re-release of the 2013 iteration. In reply to a question on Twitter, LEGO said: “It’s a re-release on new platforms.”
LEGO City Undercover will release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam in the first half of 2017.
