A week following the game’s release, Bethesda has announced that Dishonored 2 will be receiving an update next month that adds new features for completionists.
Next month, the game will be updated with a New Game+ mode, as well as new custom difficulty settings that will allow replayers to tune the game to their liking. Replaying Dishonored to find all of its nooks and crannies has always been one of the greatest joys of the series, so being able to better adjust the difficulty to your liking will be appreciated.
Bethesda will be talking more about the two new features in the coming weeks, including an exact release date for the update.
We had a lot of great things to say about Dishonored 2 in our review, scoring it a 4.5 out of 5.
“Dishonored 2 is the bigger, badder, and bolder version of the original game, thanks to its densely packed world and wonderfully enjoyable mechanics. Even though the experience only has nine main missions, the amount of replayability and exploration offered allows this title to always feel exciting. This is only enhanced by the interesting characters and story that string each level together, which makes Dishonored 2 a more than worthy sequel to the first title,” said Collin MacGregor.
