Call of Duty usurps Battlefield.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has been released and, upon its debit, it has managed to reach the top of the UK game charts, dethroning its main rival Battlefield 1. Battlefield 1 spent several weeks in the top spot but its reign has come to an end.

It’s not all good news for Call of Duty. As we reported earlier, sales of Infinite Warfare aren’t as strong as the sales for the last game Black Ops II. Battlefield 1 now sits in second place and FIFA 17 is in third. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition is in fourth and Titanfall 2 sits in fifth.

The top 20 are as follows:

  1. Call of Duty: Infinite Warefare
  2. Battlefield 1
  3. FIFA 17
  4. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition
  5. Titanfall 2
  6. Football Manager 2017
  7. Skylanders Imaginators
  8. Mafia III
  9. Grand Theft Auto V
  10. Forza Horizon 3
  11. Gears of War 4
  12. Star Wars Battlefront
  13. WWE 2K17
  14. Minecraft: Xbox Edition
  15. Rise of the Tomb Raider 20 Year Edition
  16. Rocket League
  17. Farming Simulator 17
  18. Overwatch
  19. Fallout 4
  20. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2

This week sees the release of several big titles such as Harvest Moon: Skytree Village and Dishonored 2. No doubt that will shake up the charts. Will Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare be able to hold on to the top spot for a second week running?
