Hover above ground!

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare – Using the Jetpack

Recommended Videos

The jetpack is a really nifty piece of gear players can make use of in Infinite Warfare. It can help you control your falls, preventing any damage taken from long falls, help you land air attacks, and also give you short boosts whenever you need to make a hard jump.

To use the jetpack, simply hit the jump button (it’s the X button on PS4, and A on Xbox One), and then tap it again and hold it to hover above the ground for a short period of time. A meter will appear onscreen, indicating to you how much fuel you have in the jetpack and how much longer you can hover for. When you’re dropping down from a great distance, make sure to hold the jump button before you hit the ground so that you can prevent yourself from taking heavy damage. If an enemy happens to be below you, holding the jump button to control your fall will help set you up for an attack from above, and you’ll be able to melee them to death. What a handy tool.
