Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare – Throwing Grenades

Recommended Videos

You might be in space, but that doesn’t mean you can simply ignore grenades (or frags, as most like to call them) in Infinite Warfare. Grenades are still as important as ever in this game, and can really help you get out of most sticky situations.

To throw a grenade, simply tap the R1 button (or RB if you’re on Xbox One) to throw it. If you want to have the grenade detonate soon after you throw it, simply hold down R1/ RB for longer before throwing it. A grenade has about five seconds before exploding after tapping the button, so keep this in mind. Do note that the R1 button is assigned to allow players to use whatever equipment they have on them at the time. This means that if you have your frags equipped, R1 will do the job when you want to throw them. But if you have any other type of gear equipped at the time, pressing the R1 button will allow you to use those equipped tools instead. This is especially important in the multiplayer modes where you’ll get to really customize your weapon loadouts and choose what you want to bring with you into the battlefield.

And that’s all you need to know about the art of grenade-throwing in Infinite Warfare. Be sure to check back with Twinfinite for more tips, tricks, and information on the game. Have fun in space!
