Titanfall 2: How to Dash

Dash – Titanfall 2

While Titans are great when you want to go on the offensive in Titanfall 2, due to their huge stature, they can be a pretty tricky when you’re trying to defend. In order to make things a bit more difficult for those trying to take you down, you’ll want to make use of your Titan’s dash feature.

Dashing will make your Titan quickly burst in the direction you’re pushing the left analog stick. This can be particularly useful if you see a Pilot trying to grapple onto you, or you’re just trying to avoid a huge hit from an enemy Titan.

To dash when you’re inside a Titan, all you had to do is press X on PS4 or A on Xbox One. Be warned, though, this can only be done twice in quick succession as your Titan essentially has a stamina bar just below its health bar.

Therefore, you’ll only want to dash when you absolutely have to. Dashing just to get around the map a bit quicker might seem like a good idea, but if you come face to face with a Titan about to unload its Core attack, you’ll wish you hadn’t so you could evade out of it.

That’s all you had to do to dash in Titanfall 2. For more tips, tricks, and guides, be sure to check back with Twinfinite.
