In the brief announcement trailer shown above, some of the footage initially left out quickly flashes by. As one would expect, most of the added scenes will put Jared Leto’s Joker and Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn in the spotlight.
According to Leto, there was a bunch of Joker footage left out of the final cut. These sequences are said to focus on the more abusive side of The Joker’s relationship with Harley Quinn, which reportedly didn’t sit all too well with test audiences.
Suicide Squad: Extended Cut comes to Digital HD on November 15, 2016, with a Blu-Ray version following closely come December 13.
