Bethesda has just released a new trailer for Skyrim: Special Edition, showing off the graphical differences between the last-gen versions of the game and the port for the current-gen consoles. You can check out the new trailer down below.
Overall, the game is looking pretty as ever, though it’s worth noting that the Special Edition will feature more dynamic field of view options, better volumetric lighting, and other cool textures that were probably not in the original version of the game. Those who already own the game on PC will receive Special Edition as a free update. However, the minimum and recommended specs for the updated version of the game are a little higher than the original’s, so be sure to check if your rig can run it before you update the game.
Skyrim: Special Edition is set to be released for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 28. Soon, we will be plagued with “arrow in the knee” jokes once more.
