Payday 2 players currently find themselves in the midst of a 10-day long community event that rewards free content through the form of updates.
After launching last Friday, October 7, Hoxton’s Housewarming Party event has introduced some new difficulty levels and masks that spoof modern pop-culture. The latest addition to this fiesta comes in the form of customizable Safe Houses. It’s basically Pimp My Crib for bank robbers, if you wil.
Upon reaching level 25, you can upgrade and redo certain rooms and areas in your Safe House, like building yourself a shooting range, changing the color of your escape van, and betting for some extra money on the side. For the full list of inclusions, check out the update on the Payday 2 Steam Community page.
Oh, and did we mention the upgrade provides you with a butler, too? Well, it does, and the fine gentleman would gladly assists you with your criminal wrongdoings.
Payday 2 is free to play on Steam until October 16 with the option to purchase the main game at a welcome 75% discount, as well as some sweet deals on its downloadable content.
Thanks, PC Gamer.
