I’m going to tell my grandkids about this day.
The Nintendo Switch was just unveiled, showing fans its new design and how they can play both inside and outside. It was also announced that the console will be powered up by custom NVIDIA technology, according to a blog post made on the website.
Nintendo’s newest console will be receiving custom software, a revamped physics engine, and new libraries. One noticeable thing is that the Switch will be receiving a new custom Tegra processor, which includes “an NVIDIA GPU based on the same architecture as the world’s top-performing GeForce gaming graphics cards.”
The post goes on to mention that the console will have better video playback, and custom software for audio effects and rendering. Also that there will be a custom operating system which will “increase both performance and efficiency.”
“NVIDIA gaming technology is integrated into all aspects of the new Nintendo Switch home gaming system, which promises to deliver a great experience to gamers.”
This is something vastly different from what we’ve seen so far from Nintendo. For all those are who planning on getting the console first day, start gearing up, as the Nintendo Switch comes out some time in March of 2017.
