Nintendo Celebrates Halloween with New Zelda: Breath of the Wild Artwork

Breath of the Wild, Legend of Zelda

Halloween doesn’t necessarily have to be a time to indulge in the horror of the seasonal celebration, as Nintendo has just deftly demonstrated with a Zelda-related tweet that is sure to brighten up your day.

We can never have too much of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in our life, and Nintendo has released some gorgeous concept art on their official Legend of Zelda Japanese Twitter account.

The tweet reads “Happy Halloween”, and shows off Link, sporting his now iconic blue tunic as he clambers up a surface that looks suspiciously like a giant pumpkin.

See the image for yourself below.

Considering he’s now at cloud level, that pumpkin must be pretty damn high, but Link’s a natural climber, as we’ve seen from numerous Breath of the Wild gameplay videos.

As of yet, no release date for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been given, but we do know that it will be arriving for both the Wii U and the recently announced Nintendo Switch console, which is set to launch in March 2017.
