Like every other open world game, you have the ability to shoot while driving in Mafia III. It’s certainly handy when you’re chasing down a particularly elusive enemy. And the game makes it particularly easy to target certain parts of the enemy car, or even just free shoot as you’d like. So, here’s how you do it.
You can only use one-handed guns, such as handguns or pistols, to shoot out of your car. Since you’re never going to be the one not behind the wheel, all you have to do is shoot with LT or L1, depending on which console you’re playing on. To cycle between targets, such as enemies or wheels, click RB or R1. Once you’ve selected your target, go ahead and fire away. Just be sure to also remember that you’re driving and pay attention. Also note that, unless your target reticule is green, you won’t have a clear shot of whatever you’re targeting.
