PVP Arena – Dark Souls III: Ashes of Ariandel

Recommended Videos

The new Ashes of Ariandel DLC introduces a PVP arena where players can match up with each other to either engage in honorable duels, brawls, or team fights. However, accessing the arena itself isn’t as straightforward as you might think. Before you can participate in the Undead Matches, first you have to defeat the Champion’s Gravetender and the Gravetender’s Greatwolf boss. You can find them by cutting the rope ladder near the beginning of the Painted World, and descending down to a new icy area.

After defeating them, you’ll obtain the Valorheart weapon and the Champion’s Bones. Next, you’ll want to return to Firelink Shrine and burn the Champion’s Bones at the bonfire there. This will unlock a new option in the bonfire menu where you can enter the arena and match up with other players online. You’ll be able to participate in PVP fights that can host up to six players once.

And there you have it, you’ll now be able to engage in the Undead Matches with other Champions of Ash. Don’t forget to equip your covenant item to color code yourself, and bring your best weapons and gear along as well.
