TwitchCon has shed light on a ton of the new attractions set to make their debut at the convention this year, which runs from September 30th to October 1st at the San Diego Convention Center in California, USA.
The convention announced that renowned DJ and Producer Steve Aoki will be headlining the popular “TwitchCon: The Party” event, alongside Darude and T-Pain, “all of whom are Twitch Partner streamers with channels dedicated to their music and gaming.”
A brand new event to feature this year is what’s being called “Inclusivity City”; an area which will give “attendees a chance to connect with organizations that are helping to make Twitch a welcoming place for everyone.”
These organizations include AnyKey, Hack Harrassment, Online SOS and I Need Diverse Games, alongside Smash Sisters, who will be hosting a Super Smash Bros. tournament within the Inclusivity City section of the convention center.
On top of that, there’s the TwitchCon Arena, a space dedicated to hosting esports related competitions, an Esports Viewing Lounge to broadcast tournaments happening outside the convention, and TwitchQuest; an “interactive, story-driven experience that sends players across the show floor solving riddles, meeting Twitch employees for clues, visiting various booths to play game demos, and scanning QR codes.”
Finally, TwitchCon has announced the “Bob Ross Paint-Along”, hosted by the Bob Ross Company. This event currently costs $99 for a pre-sale ticket pack, and will let you enjoy a painting class inspired by the man himself.
