Respawn Entertainment have confirmed more details relating to the launch of Titanfall 2 this October, revealing that the game will not be part of the EA/Origin Access program.
The studio confirmed the news to Gamereactor yesterday, after suggesting in August that they hadn’t come to a decision on the matter.
This means that the game won’t have any early access options for PC or Xbox One players, nor will it receive any discounts or free trials for those signed up to the program.
Respawn did suggest that Titanfall 2 may become an EA/Origin Access title in the future, but this won’t be the case at least for this year.
Titanfall 2 releases for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC this year, on October 28th.
In other related news, Respawn revealed that Angel City – the fan favorite map from the original game – will be making a comeback for the sequel as part of a free DLC drop following launch.
For everything else related to Titanfall, make sure you keep your eyes peeled to Twinfinite.
