Hot Shots Tennis For PS2 Is Coming To PS4 September 13

The 2006 PlayStation 2 game, Hot Shots Tennis, is officially coming to PS4 via backwards compatibility on Sept. 13. Revealed by PlayStation.Blog as well, Sony’s official PlayStation website has some details on the game:

“It’s Tennis, Hot Shots Style!!


Finally, a Tennis game for everyone! Filled with classic Hot Shots personality and true tennis gameplay, Hot Shots Tennis delivers an experience both amateurs and pros can enjoy! Play a quirky cast of tennis pros then challenge friends and family in singles or even 4 player doubles matches.

The sport of Tennis will never be the same.

Designed for easy pick up and play and longer rallies!

14 Hot Shots Choose!
Play with 14 colorful characters with crazy personalities and tennis skills!

Various Game Modes Offer Something for Everyone!!

Although this will be one of the smaller titles to be released that day, as BioShock: The Collection and the Dead Rising Triple Pack are also being released, it is nice to know these titles from generations past are trickling in. Moreover, this seems like a sports game that characterized that era’s catalogue of colorful sports games, including Mario’s sports outings. At this point, they seem to have been drowned out by the more realistic sports games, such as the NBA 2K games.

However, this game is getting one more release on PS4. Don’t miss it when it hits the courts on Tuesday.
