Final Fantasy XIV Patch 3.4 ‘Soul Surrender’ Gets a Batch of New, Shiny Screenshots

Super shiny.

Square Enix has just released a batch of new screenshots showing off the latest patch coming to Final Fantasy XIV this month. Patch 3.4 is titled Soul Surrender, and it will come with a variety of new features including the finale to the Alexander raid, more story missions and side quests, dungeons, housing features, and some adjustments to PVP elements and skills.

This patch will also introduce Aquariums, which you can use to store your favorite fish. Needless to say, the larger your Aquarium, the more fish you’ll be able to fit in there. Square Enix has also confirmed that there will be even more types of fish for you to store in your Aquarium. You can take a look at the new Soul Surrender screenshots down below.

Final Fantasy XIV patch 3.4 will be released for the PS4, PS3, and PC on September 27. There will be more details and footage to come at this year’s Tokyo Game Show as well. TGS 2016 will be running from September 15 to 18 this year.
