How to Start – Destiny: Rise of Iron

Recommended Videos

Destiny’s latest major expansion, Rise of Iron has released and players are already checking out the new adventure and raising their light levels to the new cap. While the Destiny servers are currently having a few issues with getting players online, once you do finally manage to log into the servers, starting the expansion is relatively straightforward.

All you have to do is simply head to the new quest that’s available on Earth. The quest is called King of the Mountain and sees you responding to the call of Lord Saladin to defend an abandoned mountaintop observatory from a Fallen assault. The recommended level and light level for this quest are 42 and 280 respectively meaning for those Guardians who had already hit The Taken King’s level cap, you can jump straight into the action without a problem.

Once you’ve finished this first quest, all you need to do is simply follow the yellow Axe symbol wherever it goes to continue on your Destiny quest.

That’s all there is to getting started in Destiny: Rise of Iron. Of course, there’s plenty more things to check out in the expansion so be sure to check out our wiki for guides and tips!
