Destiny Rise of Iron Raid: How to Beat the Siege Engine (Death Zamboni)

Siege Engine (Death Zamboni) – Destiny: Rise of Iron

Recommended Videos

Before the release of Destiny: Rise of Iron’s new raid, Wrath of the Machine, a huge “death zamboni” was shown off. It turns out that you’re going to have to deal with that bastard after taking out Vosik. It’s a pretty tough encounter that requires communication and coordination.

When you start, you’ll notice you’re on a bridge with electrified sides and a huge machine at the end. Once triggered, it will start moving towards you while a ton of Dregs and Vandals pop up from the ground. Pick one person to deal with adds (preferably with a super and powerful ammo), and everyone else will focus on the left and right side of the Siege Engine’s face. Once that’s destroyed, jump on top and ride it through the wall. After this point, it will be damaged, but it’s your ride after all, so it’s time to become a mechanic.

After the Siege Engine stops, you’ll see some captains and a Fallen ship up ahead. Take out the captains and the ship will drop three parts to the machine. This is where coordination comes into play. When you hold a piece, you will only have 9 seconds to walk with it before you become “Exhausted” so you’ll want to pair up so that you can pass it back and forth. There are a bunch of adds as well as those stasis mines that slow you down. Make sure to keep an eye out for those while moving forward so you don’t lose time and die.

Once you get close to the Siege Engine, a new enemy, Meksis, will appear to try and stop your Wrath of the Machine run. Kill him and continue. You need to bring all three parts up to the Siege Machine and place them into their rightful places so that it can keep moving and take you to your right place.

Keep in mind that there will be a lot of adds and mines. Make sure to always cover and make sure mines are being shot. Also, keep an eye on your timer, and if you drop the piece by a hole, you fail. Additionally, when carrying the parts, make sure to hurry. The engine will explode if you take too long.

Good luck, Guardians. For more Destiny: Rise of Iron help, be sure to check out our wiki for guides and tips!
