Destiny will not be one of the games getting a patch for PlayStation 4 Pro when the upgraded console releases in November.
During a roundtable interview, reported by Gamespot, Bungie staff said that they would be looking into a patch but added that it wouldn’t be coming any time soon. Gamespot report that the following exchange happened:
Question: “Are you planning on any support for PS4 Pro?”
Answer: “No, not for Rise of Iron. We’re all done. As far as the future… We have nothing to announce today, but we’ll certainly be looking at it.”
From that, it isn’t clear whether we will get a PS4 Pro patch or not but we will hopefully hear more before the console releases.
At the PlayStation Meeting last week, it was revealed that some past releases would be getting a patch that would improve the visuals for the PlayStation 4 Pro. Those games include Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor, inFamous: First Light, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, and the Call of Duty games releasing this November.
The PlayStation 4 Pro will be available November 10 and Destiny: Rise of Iron will release on September 20.
