Darkest Dungeon will be arriving to the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita on September 27th, later this month, developer Red Hook Studios has announced.
Revealing the news in a post on the PlayStation Blog, the game’s community manager John Lindvay said that the team are “extremely excited to share the game with the PlayStation community, and have snuck in a few bonuses to help make the console version of Darkest Dungeon something special.”
The roguelike dungeon crawler, which originally got crowdfunded for a PC release via Kickstarter in 2014, will include cross-play and cross-buy functionality between both of the PlayStation platforms.
To celebrate the news, Red Hook Studios also unveiled a new launch trailer for the game, which you can check out below.
Lindvay’s post also detailed many of the new features coming to the PS4 and Vita version of the game, including new trinkets, improved dungeons, and a new town event called “A Day Long Awaited.”
For those with PlayStation Plus subscriptions, a 20% discount on the game will be available for two weeks, beginning September 27th.
