UFC’s Conor McGregor to Star in Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Reveals First Image

UFC mega star Conor “The Notorious” McGregor is set to star in the upcoming Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, and has revealed the first image of himself starring in the game. The UFC Featherweight Champion revealed the news on social media earlier, and told fans to keep an eye on the Call of Duty Twitter tomorrow. In his most recent tweet, he revealed the following image with the caption: “When the biggest need the baddest to do the work, I answer the call. Keep an eye on @CallofDuty tomorrow.”

McGregor turned down the opportunity to appear in the next XXX movie with Vin Diesel earlier this year, in order to keep focus on his victorious rematch with bitter rival Nate Diaz. Yet he will make the transition from cage fighter to video game star when he appears in the next instalment of the critically acclaimed Call of Duty franchise. He is joined by another familiar face in the form of Game of Thrones star Kit Harrington, who will swap the role of Jon Snow to a more villainous character in the next game. He isn’t the first Hollywood antagonist to feature in the FPS series either, with Kevin Spacey starring in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare as Jonathan Irons back in 2014.

It has been yet to be confirmed what role McGregor will play in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, which hits Xbox One, PS4 and PC on Nov. 4.
