Going gold essentially means that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has now been certified as ready for release at retail, though Infinity Ward are still working hard on fine-tuning the game, particularly with regards to the upcoming launch of the multiplayer beta.
That beta will be available to anyone who has pre-ordered the game, and is set to kick off first on PlayStation 4, beginning October 14th at 10 AM PST.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is set to release this November 4th, 2016, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
