May the quick binge watching session begin.
Since the Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV event back in March, Square Enix has been releasing episodes of the Final Fantasy XV anime, called Brotherhood. Each ranging between 12 and 18 minutes long, the episodes are available for free on YouTube. Timing the release with TGS, the fifth and final episode of the series is now available.
Titled The Warmth of Light, “Brotherhood episode 5 details the events that set the stage for young Noctis, his family and his friends. This episode also features an epic battle that Noctis takes on ten years later against the massive snake-like monster, Marilith,” the episode’s description reads. While all five episodes can be found here, check out the original announcement trailer below:
When it released at the end of March, the first episode in the web-series garnered more than 2 million views. Available only in Japanese, with subtitles for other languages, the anime is separate from the CGI Kingsglaive feature film also released for Final Fantasy XV.
While these five episodes are available for free, there is a sixth, exclusive episode that comes as part of the Final Fantasy XV Collector’s Edition, included on a Blu-ray of the entire series.
The next game in Square Enix’s long-running blockbuster franchise releases Nov. 29 for PS4 and Xbox One.
