Overall, the CGI looks really pretty, as expected. But the lip-sync looks pretty terrible. The events of the movie serve as a prequel to Final Fantasy XV, and will give players an idea of how things come to pass in the final game. The movie’s English dub features actors like Sean Bean, Lena Headey, and Aaron Paul, though their characters will be voiced by different actors in the game.

Final Fantasy XV will be released for the PS4 and Xbox One on November 29, after being delayed from its original September 30 release date. The movie will be available digitally on August 30.
