Pre-Order Ship Bonus – No Man’s Sky
The courage to explore. The wits to stay alive. These are things needed in order to get the most out of No Man’s Sky, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t explore in style. Thankfully, if you pre-ordered the game, you can claim a cooler and overall better ship from the start.
If you look at the lower, right-hand corner of you screen, you’ll notice a message popping up. It’s a simple message letting you know that you have items that need to be redeemed. Click on the Options button on your controller then press R1 until you reach the Options tab. Look down on the right-hand side until you see “Extras,” it will be the second option called “Redeem Bonus Content.” Put your cursor over that option and hold down X on your controller. It will take you to another page where you will see the option to redeem your ship. Click on that and then you’ll see on the right-hand side where you can accept.
Players should be warned that you should transfer over your items first because they will get lost in redeeming the ship. If you do claim the ship right off the bat you’ll miss a lot of the tutorial from the game such as how to use Space Stations and how the Galactic Market works. Also, the pre-order ship comes with a Hyperdrive already installed, meaning you won’t have to craft one yourself.
