Konami has launched the official teaser website for Metal Gear Survive. While the site doesn’t exactly provide a lot of info about the game itself, it does come packed with a batch of nice, shiny screenshots. You can check out the screenshots for yourself in the gallery down below. They look pretty nice.
Metal Gear Survive takes place after the events of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. After Mother Base was destroyed by Cipher, some members of the MSF actually survived the attack. However, they encountered a wormhole, and were transported to an alternate dimension where they have to fight off zombies with crystal heads. According to Konami, Survive will be a multiplayer co-op stealth experience. The game will also make use of the very beautiful FOX engine.
There’s no solid release date just yet, but Metal Gear Survive will be coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC some time in 2017. Konami is also working on a Metal Gear Solid 3 pachinko game, coming to Japan this year.
