Prepare yourself, Ashen One.
We already know that Dark Souls III will be getting some post-game DLC, but both Bandai Namco and From Software have been pretty tight-lipped about it. However, the official Dark Souls Twitter account has just posted a tweet, stating that some “huge news” is on the way. Looks like we’ll have to wait till August 24 to find out what it is though.
Huge news on the way, folks. 'What is it?" You ask? Well, you're going to have to wait to find out. pic.twitter.com/ivrzL0Z7N3

This isn’t the first time the Dark Souls Twitter account has teased fans with exciting news and reveals. In fact, the last time it happened, the news turned out to be a reveal of some serious appalling Souls-related designs on a t-shirt. In fact, the less said about that, the better. It’s hard to imagine what else this “huge news” could possibly be, aside from a release date announcement for the imminent DLC content.
Of course, we’ll keep you updated as more info comes our way. Dark Souls III is now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Where do you think the DLC could take us this time around? Londor, possibly? Or maybe we’ll find out more about the Primordial Serpents? Let us know your thoughts in the comments down below.
