Gears of War 4 PC Minimum, Recommended, and Ideal Specs Revealed

Today, Microsoft announced that minimum and recommended specs that players’ systems will need to meet if they want to play Gears of War 4 on PC. Alongside these, however, specs for an ‘ideal’ configuration were also listed which ask for a pretty powerful setup.

Whatever graphical settings you’ll be able to run on, you’ll have to be running the Windows 10 Anniversary Update to be able to play. For anyone holding off on upgrading to the latest OS, hoping that they could continue playing the latest games on Windows 7 or 8, it looks like Microsoft has other ideas.

Gears of War 4 will also run at a 4K resolution, though you’ll need a pretty powerful graphics card to handle it. You can check out the 4K gameplay debut from Gamescom in the video below.
