Get ready to drive.
There’s a bit of a surprise waiting for Xbox fans in the upcoming Forza Horizon 3, as a new trailer released today shows the iconic Warthog from the Halo series being driven in the game. For the first time in the series, the Warthog will make its debut as the “2554 AMG Transport Dynamics M12S Warthog CST,” a civilian model of the militaristic all-terrain vehicle.
The Warthog will be available for free at launch, to everyone that has played either Halo 5: Guardians or Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Xbox One. Codes will be sent out the week of September 5 to eligible players via an Xbox Live Message. For anyone that hasn’t played Halo on their Xbox One, the Warthog can still be earned through a special #Forzathon event coming to the game in October. You can see the vehicle in action in the trailer below.
Forza Horizon 3 launches on September 27, exclusively on the Xbox One. You can see our impressions of the game and its Australian setting from E3 right here.
