Acid Soaker – Fallout 4: Nuka-World

The Acid Soaker is the weapon that many of you fans may recognize from the Nuka-World trailers leading up to the expansion’s release. It resembles a pipe pistol, but uses a small bottle of acid as a magazine making it more like a squirt gun than anything else. That acid does damage over time and lowers your opponent’s damage resistance by a significant amount.

Obtaining this weapon will require a visit to the Nuka-Cade in Nuka-Town, USA. Here you’ll be able to play games and earn tickets that will, in turn, let you claim rewards. Once you’ve earned at least 6,250 Tickets, head on over to the redemption terminal and choose spend tickets, then check each level for the weapon. If you can’t find it, just wait a day or so and check again. The prizes do change periodically, but the Acid Soaker will come back into rotation eventually.

Something to note is that the weapon isn’t particularly strong, nor is it customizable, so you can’t improve it. If you’re really intent on putting this glorified squirt gun to use, though, pair it up with a more powerful weapon so you can capitalize on the gun’s ability to lower enemy damage resistance.
