Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will finally hit PS4, Xbox One, and PC on Oct. 25. Fans will once again be able to step into the boots of their favorite Z-Fighters, enemies, and created heroes as they fight to restore the Dragon Ball timeline. As the release date draws near, Bandai Namco is releasing even more information concerning the anime-based fighter.
There are some new modes being included that will focus on multiplayer so that you can enjoy with your friends. The mode revealed is called the Expert Mission. You’ll be able to team up with up to five other players to take down a huge boss. It will focus on strategy and coordination, adding some much needed depth to Xenoverse 2’s gameplay experience.
Outside of the multiplayer mode, a brand new character was revealed for the game as well. Majin Vegeta will be entering the fray with increased stamina and strength. If you aren’t familiar with this form, it’s the Prince of Sayan’s most evil form, providing a whole new level of destruction. Aside from Majin Vegeta and the Expert Mission mode, it was also shared that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will feature twice the amount of quests as its predecessor.
Of course, one of the biggest announcements was the fact that there will be an open beta soon for the game. The release date hasn’t been revealed, but players will be able to explore the new main hub area, Conton City, which is said to be seven times bigger than the first game’s. You’ll be able to fly around, use vehicles, shop, participate in quests, and more.
