Sooner than expected.
The sequel to 2014’s surprise RPG, Divinity: Original Sin, will be playable sooner than you might expect. Larian Studios announced today that Divinity: Original Sin 2, will be available via Steam Early Access starting on September 15.
The Early Access version of the game will include a portion of the single player campaign, as well as the competitive online Arena mode. Larian has not stated a price as of yet. Just like its predecessor, Original Sin 2 will tell a detailed narrative featuring a rich world and cast of characters, but try and expand on its story even more.
For example, the game will give players brand new, detailed dialogue trees that can sometimes depend on their character’s race, gender and class. Character creations has also been expanded, and NPCs in the world will react differently to you depending on which race you play as.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 is set to release sometime at the end of 2016 on PC. Did you play the first Original Sin? Would you consider picking up the sequel on Early Access? Let us know down in the comments.
