You can’t kill progress.
Just ahead of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided’s release on August 23, Square Enix has released the launch trailer for the game. Mankind Divided takes place two years after the previous game, Human Revolution, and once again stars the augmented former security specialist, Adam Jensen.
The minute and a half launch trailer shows some desperate scenes highlighting the tension between augmented and non-augmented people, while Jensen narrates over the top. “You can kill innocents, you can kill freedom. But you can’t kill progress,” says Jensen. There’s also a few scenes showing off some of the new augments and abilities Jensen will have access to during battle. Take a look at the trailer below.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided launches on August 23 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. There’s also a mobile game called Deus Ex GO that released today, following the same formula as the acclaimed Hitman GO and Lara Croft GO. If you’re playing Mankind Divided on PC, you can check all of the specs and preload schedules here.
