The somewhat recently revealed team up between Blizzard and Facebook to seamlessly stream Battle.net games onto players’ wall is now live, Blizzard revealed today.
The feature is quite simple, and pretty neat as long as Facebook is an application that you don’t mind using. On the top right of your Battle.net client, there will be a stream button that once linked to your Facebook, will allow you to automatically stream live onto your Facebook wall. The integration also has some basic streaming features as well such as whether or not to include audio and video from your webcam, and privacy settings for where you’ll be sharing your video on Facebook.
You can stream any modern Blizzard game currently featured on Battle.net including Overwatch, Hearthstone, StarCraft II, Heroes of the Storm, Diablo 3 and World of Warcraft. Now my grandmother can see how bad my Marine splits are in Terran vs. Zerg. Awesome!
You’ll need to update to the latest version of Blizzard client to use it, and be in one of the following areas: Americas, Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. According to the announcement, global access is coming soon.
