Earlier this month, ratings for Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection led gamers to believe Ubisoft was planning on bringing their beloved Ezio trilogy to next-gen consoles in the form of a remaster bundle.
New leaked evidence seems to suggest the Ezio Collection may actually come to be. A French gaming blog posted a promotional image for the remasters on their website, showcasing some beautiful artwork as well as listing the games in the rumored collection, which would include Assassin’s Creed II, Brotherhood and Revelations.
Along with the image shown above, the blog claims Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection will run at 1080p at 30 frames per second, with reworked textures and all post-release DLC included as well as featuring the two animated films that depict unique aspects of Ezio’s life.
No official announcement of Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection has yet been released, but we expect Ubisoft to shed some light on the speculation soon. Since 2016 marks the series’ first break since 2009, this holiday season would be the ideal time to release a next-gen remaster.
