Don’t get cocky.
There’s been a lot of Star Wars stuff announced this weekend, and it’s no different for games. During the conference, EA and DICE revealed that there was more content in the pipeline for last year’s Star Wars Battlefront. If you were someone who was hoping for some space battles, it looks like they’re finally coming, and in the form of the biggest space battle of the entire series. That’s right, you get to be in the Death Star battle.
The DLC will feature more ground and space maps, new weapons, star cards, and two more Heroes, Bossk and Chewbacca. You can expect that to drop in September. The game will also be receiving DLC tied to the upcoming Rogue One film, though no footage was shown. Instead, just a simple title card that reads ‘Star Wars Battlefront: Rogue One: Scarif. Scarif will release in time for the film and let you play as Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones’ character) and Director Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn’s character). It’ll be the final expansion for the game.
