Square Enix and CNN are Teaming Up for a Human Augmentation Conference This August

Gamers looking forward to the upcoming Deus Ex: Mankind Divided may be interested to hear that Square Enix will be teaming up with CNN’s content branch Courageous this August to hold a conference on human augmentations.

The conference will take place at The Paley Center for Media in New York City this August 4th and will also be viewable on Twitch. The event will last one day and will feature discussions about themes including Christian ethics, how available should augmentations be made, and of course, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

The event’s website, which you can check out for yourself here, also reveals several of the experts that will be attending and debating at the event. These experts will include the co-founder of Open Bionics Samantha Payne, Christian Ethics professor E. Christian Brugger, and The Transhumanist Wager author Zoltan Istvan.
