Pokemon GO: How to Use Modules at PokeStops

Modules are a great little item in Pokemon GO and will help not only you, but other Pokemon trainers nearby get some pretty handy boosts. Though these can be incredibly helpful, the game doesn’t really tell you how to use them. Don’t worry though, we’re here to help with that.

First off, you’ll need to know how to get PokeStop Modules. The main way you’ll probably get your hands on one of these is if you buy them from the store. Alternatively, you may find yourself grabbing one from a PokeStop drop, but this is a pretty rare occurrence. Of course, that doesn’t mean that you’ll never reap the benefits of Modules. One of the best parts about them is that it’s not only the user who benefits from the, but everyone within close proximity to the PokeStop will receive the perk that the Module gives.

If you’ve got a Module and want to activate it on a PokeStop, all you have to do is simply head to a PokeStop and at the top of the screen you should see a box that says no Module is loaded (unless a Module is already in use of course). Simply tap here and select the Module you want to load and the game should do the rest for you. Most Modules last for 30 minutes too, so you and other Pokemon trainers nearby can enjoy the benefits together for quite some time.
