The Persona 5 hype is getting very real, which is unsurprising, considering the game is only two months away from the Japanese launch. Unfortunately, those waiting for the English release will only get to have their hearts stolen on February 14, 2017. Still, there’s an advertisement takeover on NicoNico right now, and it looks like the upcoming Persona 5 premium event will have seven exciting announcements for fans.
The premium event will take place on July 19 at the Tokyo National Museum. According to the ad, there will be seven new announcements about the game. Not to worry; the event will also be streamed live via NicoNico at 7.30pm JST on that day, so be sure to mark your calendars if you want to catch the stream.
We already know that Persona 5 follows a group of high school students who take on the roles of ‘phantom thieves’ at night, and they enter dungeons via a phone app called Palaces. Atlus has also previously revealed that the core theme of the game will revolve around challenging society’s expectations and standards, and of course, using the power of Persona to present different faces of yourself to those around you.
Persona 5 will be released for the PS3 and PS4 on September 15 in Japan, and on September 30 in North America.
