Atlus games have a tendency to arrive late in Europe, so it’s understandable that many have been feeling worried about receiving Persona 5 later than those living in North America. However, it looks like Deep Silver will be taking charge of publishing certain Atlus and SEGA titles in Europe. And yes, that includes Persona 5 for the PS3 and PS4, and Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse for the Nintendo 3DS.

They didn’t reveal any details about a release date for Persona 5 in Europe. However, with a publisher willing to distribute the game in the region this early, it’s highly possible that those living in Europe just might get the game on the same day as North America, if not off by a couple of days.
“In entering this partnership with Deep Silver, I am truly delighted we will be able to release our titles in the European regions,” said Naoto Hiraoka, CEO, Atlus U.S.A., Inc., and senior vice president of publishing, Sega of America, Inc. “Not only does the deal span multiple titles, but Deep Silver has a strong presence in European and PAL retailers. They have a strong passion for being able to deliver physical games to our fans in those territories, which we hold in high regard.”
Persona 5 is set to be released for the PS3 and PS4 on February 14, 2017 in North America. We’ll keep you updated as more information comes our way, and when a Europe release date is announced. Rejoice!
