Monster Hunter Generations Is Getting an Adorable Toon Link DLC Costume

Monster Hunter Generations, Toon Link, DLC

Play as everyone’s favorite cartoony Nintendo character.

Monster Hunter Generations is receiving its fair share of DLC, and Capcom has released a new trailer for one of those pieces, letting players dress up their Palico as Toon Link. The costume will be released as free downloadable content after the release of Monster Hunter Generations.

A short trailer for the DLC shows a Palico running around in the costume, using a boomerang to attack enemies and wielding the Wind Waker as a sword. The costume even gives Link cat ears and wiskers, so make sure to watch the trailer down below.

Generations will also be receiving other western exclusive costume based DLC including Fire Emblem, Okami, Ghosts ‘n Goblins and  Strider. Some costumes like the Stride one allow you to dress up your player character as the legendary ninja Strider Hiryu with weapon and all, while others like Ghosts ‘n Goblins give a new Arthurian costume to Palicos.

Monster Hunter Generations launches for the Nintendo 3DS in North America and Europe on July 15. A free demo for the game is currently available for download via the eShop. You can also take a look at the game’s recent E3 trailer here.
