A bit different from the mobster story you might expect, Mafia III is a good old-fashioned tale of revenge. And like any revenge story, it’s all about the mad-as-Hell hero in the middle of it all. In Mafia III that hero is none other than Lincoln Clay.
“Lincoln Clay is a man robbed of his family. Orphaned at an early age and raised on the streets of New Bordeaux, he fell in with the black mob. Now, back from Vietnam, his adoptive family’s been wiped out by the Italian Mafia – and Sal Marcano will pay with everything he holds dear. The Mob is about to learn that family isn’t who you’re born with, it’s who you die for,” 2K explains.
Taking place in 1968, in a fictionalized version of New Orleans, Mafia III tasks players with building a new crew to take on the Italian mob. The game releases for PS4, Xbox One, and PC Oct. 7.
