Cat’s out of the bag, folks. At their panel for Agents of SHIELD at Comic-Con, Marvel officially announced that the Ghost Rider would be coming to the MCU to cause some demonic trouble. During the final moments of the panel, the Head of TV Jeph Loeb revealed a short video with the show’s logo. The logo quickly exploded in fame before being placed with the skull of the Rider, followed by the ominous tagline: “Vengeance comes this fall.”
This version of the Rider will be Robbie Reyes, who will be played by Gabriel Luna. In the comics, Reyes is the most recent version, who embraces the spirit after acquiring a black muscle car. Exactly how he fits into the espionage world of the Agents is unclear, given his supernatural background, but depending on what side he’s on, it can’t be good either way.
Agents of SHIELD: Season 4 premieres on ABC on September 20. Stay tuned to Twinfinite for more news from Comic-Con.
