Fallout 4’s fifth piece of DLC, Vault-Tec Workshop, received its release date today via a Tweet from Bethesda Game Studios.
Vault-Tec Workshop is set to give players the chance to finally build a brighter future underground for their settlers. You’ll be able to create huge vaults to protect settlers from any future bomb drops, and you’ll have a ton of new items to spruce the place up with.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a piece of Vault-Tec DLC if it didn’t have a hint of evil in there, so you’ll also be able to run experiments on your vault dwellers as well. Although, as of yet, we’re not really sure what rewards (or issues) performing these experiments may result in. The official description claims you’ll “learn what makes an ideal citizen,” so I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
Vault-Tec Workshop will be made available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on July 26. It’ll come free for anyone who already has Fallout 4’s Season Pass, but if you’re wanting to pick it up on its own, it’ll set you back $5.
