Larson will be playing Carol Danvers, an Air Force pilot who gets her DNA fused with that of a Kree named Mar-Vell who was sent to study the human race. Her powers include flight, super strength, and energy projection, and she’s grown to prominence over the last few years in the comic world. In addition to her own solo comic, she’s a member of the Ultimates and one of the central figures in the currently running Civil War II event.
Captain Marvel comes to theaters on March 8, 2019.
